Walk by Faith
I love how God manages little things in our lives to let us know He is aware of the knowledge we are seeking. In the past when I have been praying about wisdom in an area or overcoming something in my life, I have just been amazed at how He works out things thru my circumstances or others to help me on my journey.
Today I was in the Dollar General and came across this wall sign in the clearance section. There wasn’t any more of these..just this one. It spoke to me because I have been reading books and watching films on how to build faith and let it work in my life. I’m not talking about just believing in God. I’m talking BIG FAITH! The kind that moves mountains, heals the sick, and calls those things which do not exist as though they did (Romans 4:17). Radical, unashamed, apostle Faith. The faith that Jesus intended ALL of us to have.
I put the wall sign in my buggy and continued with my shopping. I noticed another wall sign in a different section of the store. It looked just like this one but had a different saying on it. It was then that I realized someone had simply laid the sign I was buying in the clearance section in error. They could have just simply been too lazy to put it back where it was supposed to go. The person who considers herself smart may just think, “That’s a neat coincidence”. The fact is there are no coincidences. God orchestrates everything (even little things like finding the sign) into His plan. I knew in my heart that He knows and sees that I’m studying and taking steps to walk out “Big Faith” in my life. He sent this little reminder to me so that I can see it everyday and know He is watching and loving me for loving Him.
This is the book I’m currently reading. You can buy a copy on Amazon. It’s really good. I’m reading it slowly, marking the scripture she quotes in my bible, answering the chapter questions, and just letting it soak in.
